Hub01 Shop Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Hub01 Shop ("Hub01 Shop", "we", "us", "our", or "the Service").

By accessing or using Hub01 Shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Hub01 Shop is a platform that allows users to discover, upload, share, manage, and download projects and project versions related to Cataclysm games, including mods, tilesets, soundpacks, tools, and related resources.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.


2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • "User" means any person who accesses or uses the Service.
  • "Account" means a registered Hub01 Shop user account.
  • "Verified User" means a user who has completed email verification.
  • "Project" means a mod, tileset, soundpack, tool, or other resource submitted to the Service.
  • "Project Version" means a specific release, file, update, or iteration of a Project.
  • "Content" means any projects, versions, files, metadata, descriptions, links, tags, changelogs, images, comments, reports, collections, favorites, or other materials submitted to or made available through the Service.
  • "API" means the Hub01 Shop application programming interface and related tools.
  • "Public Content" means Content that is visible to other users or visitors of the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account or use account features on Hub01 Shop.

If the law in your country requires you to be older, or requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you may only use the Service if you meet those requirements.

By using the Service, you confirm that you are allowed to use Hub01 Shop under the laws that apply to you.

Hub01 Shop is not intended for children under 14.


4. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.

4.2 Email Verification

Unverified users may have limited access to platform features.

4.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend, restrict, or disable accounts for security reasons, suspected abuse, or violations of these Terms.

4.4 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings, if available, or by contacting us.

When your account is deleted, your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Some public or previously distributed content may remain available unless you request its deletion or unless deletion is required by law.


5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload, publish, link to, or distribute illegal content
  • Upload malicious, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content
  • Upload content containing malware, viruses, backdoors, credential stealers, destructive code, or other harmful software
  • Violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of others
  • Upload content you do not have permission to share
  • Impersonate another person, project, organization, or community
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with another person, project, organization, or community
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users
  • Publish personal data about others without permission
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, or malicious reports
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, systems, API, or infrastructure
  • Attempt to bypass security, moderation, rate limits, access controls, or technical restrictions
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service in a way that harms the Service or violates these Terms
  • Use the Service to spam, phish, scam, or distribute misleading information
  • Interfere with the stability, availability, or security of the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. Projects and Content

6.1 Project Creation

Only verified users may create projects.

Projects may be reviewed before becoming visible on the platform.

We may accept, reject, hide, disable, restore, or remove projects at our discretion, especially where we believe a project violates these Terms, creates security risks, infringes rights, is misleading, is incomplete, or is outside the purpose of the Service.

6.2 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the Content you upload to Hub01 Shop.

Hub01 Shop does not claim ownership of your projects, files, descriptions, metadata, or other user-submitted content.

6.3 License Granted to Hub01 Shop

By uploading or submitting Content to Hub01 Shop, you grant Hub01 Shop a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, distribute, make available, and process your Content as necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and promote the Service.

This license allows Hub01 Shop to:

  • Display public project pages
  • Host and distribute project files
  • Show project metadata, descriptions, tags, changelogs, statistics, and links
  • Make projects discoverable through search, filters, project collections, and the API
  • Create technical copies for backups, caching, security, and service operation

This license ends when your Content is deleted from the Service, except where continued retention is necessary for backups, legal compliance, security, abuse prevention, or where the Content has already been downloaded, copied, or distributed by other users.

6.4 Your Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the necessary rights to upload, publish, and share your Content
  • Your Content does not infringe the rights of others
  • Your Content does not violate any applicable law
  • Your Content does not contain malware or harmful code
  • Your Content complies with these Terms

You are solely responsible for the Content you upload or submit.

6.5 Public Content

Some Content is public by design.

Public Content may include:

  • Your username
  • Public project pages
  • Project names, descriptions, summaries, tags, links, versions, files, changelogs, and download information
  • Project statistics
  • Collections or favorites, if made public
  • Other information you choose to publish

Do not include personal data, secrets, credentials, private keys, tokens, or confidential information in public project pages, files, descriptions, changelogs, or metadata.


7. Project Versions and Downloads

Users download and use Content at their own risk.

Hub01 Shop does not guarantee that user-uploaded Content is safe, compatible, accurate, complete, maintained, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Projects may depend on specific game versions, experimental releases, dependencies, loaders, tools, or installation steps. You are responsible for checking compatibility before downloading or using Content.

Hub01 Shop is not responsible for damage, data loss, game corruption, device issues, or other problems caused by downloaded or user-uploaded Content.


8. API Usage

Hub01 Shop may provide an API for accessing, uploading, managing, or integrating with project data.

When using the API, you agree to:

  • Use the API responsibly and lawfully
  • Keep API tokens secure
  • Not share private API tokens publicly
  • Not use the API to abuse, overload, disrupt, scrape, or attack the Service
  • Not bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or security controls
  • Not use the API to upload malicious, illegal, infringing, or prohibited Content
  • Respect any technical limits, documentation, or rules published for the API

We may suspend, revoke, rotate, or delete API tokens at any time for security, abuse prevention, or violation of these Terms.

We may change, limit, or discontinue API functionality at any time.


9. Content Moderation

9.1 Moderation Actions

We may take action against Content or accounts that violate these Terms or create risks for the Service, users, or third parties.

Moderation actions may include:

  • Rejecting project submissions
  • Hiding, disabling, or removing projects
  • Removing files, links, descriptions, tags, metadata, or versions
  • Restricting project visibility
  • Suspending or disabling accounts
  • Revoking API tokens
  • Limiting access to features
  • Preserving information where needed for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons

9.2 Reasons for Moderation

We may moderate Content or accounts for reasons including:

  • Illegal content
  • Malware, harmful code, or security risks
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Privacy violations or publication of personal data
  • Harassment, abuse, threats, or harmful behavior
  • Spam, scams, phishing, or misleading content
  • Impersonation or misrepresentation
  • False or malicious abuse reports
  • Attempts to manipulate downloads, statistics, ratings, visibility, search, or project discovery
  • Content that is unrelated to the purpose of Hub01 Shop
  • Violations of these Terms

9.3 Review Process

Project review and moderation decisions may be made by administrators.

We may use technical tools to help detect spam, abuse, malware, suspicious activity, or security risks, but we are not required to review every item of Content before or after publication.

We are not obligated to host, publish, restore, or continue distributing any Content.

9.4 Appeals

If your project, Content, account, or API access is restricted, disabled, or removed, you may contact us to ask for a review.

Appeal requests should include:

  • Your username
  • The project or content involved
  • A clear explanation of why you believe the action should be reviewed
  • Any relevant supporting information

We will review appeals where appropriate, but we are not required to reverse moderation decisions.


Users may report Content or behavior that they believe violates these Terms.

Reports may include issues such as:

  • Malware or harmful files
  • Copyright or other intellectual property infringement
  • Privacy violations
  • Impersonation
  • Harassment or abuse
  • Illegal content
  • Spam or misleading content

We will review reports and take action where appropriate.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that Content will be removed.

False, abusive, or malicious reports may result in account restrictions or other action.

For legal, privacy, intellectual property, or serious abuse reports, please contact us by email rather than through public channels.


11. Intellectual Property

11.1 User Content

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their Content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, licenses, or other rights.

Do not upload Content unless you created it, have permission to share it, or are otherwise legally allowed to distribute it.

11.2 Open Source and Third-Party Licenses

Many projects may be open source or based on third-party licenses.

You are responsible for complying with any licenses that apply to the Content you upload, including attribution, source-code, redistribution, modification, and notice requirements.

Hub01 Shop is not responsible for verifying that user-uploaded Content complies with third-party licenses.

11.3 Infringement Notices

If you believe that Content on Hub01 Shop infringes your rights, contact us with enough information for us to identify and review the Content.

A useful notice should include:

  • Your name or organization
  • Contact information
  • A description of the work or rights you believe are being infringed
  • The URL or identifying information of the Content involved
  • A statement explaining why you believe the Content is infringing
  • Any relevant supporting evidence

We may remove or restrict Content in response to valid infringement notices.

Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.


Hub01 Shop may contain links to third-party websites, repositories, tools, documentation, communities, or services.

We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, policies, security, availability, or practices.

Use third-party links and services at your own risk.


13. Service Availability and Changes

Hub01 Shop is provided as a community-focused service and may change over time.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, add, or remove features
  • Change project review criteria
  • Change API behavior or availability
  • Introduce new requirements
  • Temporarily or permanently suspend parts of the Service
  • Temporarily or permanently discontinue the Service

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.


14. Account Suspension and Termination

14.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Service at any time.

You may delete your account through your profile settings, if available, or by contacting us.

14.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account immediately, with or without prior notice, if we believe that:

  • You violated these Terms
  • Your account creates a security risk
  • Your account is involved in abuse, spam, malware, or illegal activity
  • Your account infringes the rights of others
  • Your account is being used to harm the Service or other users
  • Continued access may create legal, technical, or security risks

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service may cease
  • Your API tokens may be revoked
  • Your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy
  • Your public Content may remain available unless deleted, removed, or subject to a valid deletion request
  • You remain responsible for any obligations or violations that occurred before termination

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of projects, files, source code, metadata, and other important materials.


17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hub01 Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

This includes damages arising from:

  • Use of or inability to use the Service
  • Downloading, installing, or using user-uploaded Content
  • Unauthorized access to your account or data
  • Content uploaded by other users
  • Service interruptions, errors, or security issues
  • Changes to or discontinuation of the Service

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.


18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hub01 Shop from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of applicable law
